Description

8/25/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor made in 1884. This rifle has not been updated with the Model 1884 rear sight. The metal has an aged bluing finish, turning a darkened grey. Stock has a repair at the wrist using dowels on a crack going around the wrist. The inspection proof is still visible on the left side. The rest of the stock is in great shape. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Bayonet is marked "US" on the underside.
