Description
7/23/26 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP issued to the SS in 1940. It is in the proper serial range for a Third Variation, 2nd Contract SS pistol (according to Tom's "SS Contract Walther PP/PPK" Book). This one comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, one period-correct but un-numbered magazine, and a nice black leather Akah holster (the name "King" is scratched onto the mag pouch). The gun itself has retained about about 90% of its original high polish bluing. The wear is concentrated mostly around the muzzle and around the high edges, but there is some spotty wear along the right side of the slide, some light spotty oxidation on the grip straps, and a few light surface scratches here and there. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
