1/14/20 - Original, Bonifacio Echeverria, Spanish Star 9MM Largo caliber pistol. Includes 2 matching magazines. Designed to fire 9mm Largo and .38 ACP ammunition as indicated by the 9mm / 38 stamp on the left slide. This "Model A" was manufactured for commercial or export. Star produced this commercial version of the Guardia Civil model 1922 pistol as the "Model A". The only difference is an adjustable rear site sight, as this hand gun incorporates. The original bluing rates about 93-95% with most of the wear on the front and back straps, as well as the high edges. Bore rates about 6 of 10 with good rifling and some frosting in the grooves. Mechanically sound and fully functional. Grips have nice checkering with no cracks. "Made In Spain" export mark, but no import marks. The magazines are matching serial numbered to the pistol, but the numbering doesn't appear to be factory.
