Description
10/3/25 - This is a Sterling Arms Model PPL chambered in .380 ACP, manufactured in the United States during the 1970s. Inspired by the Walther PPK design, the PPL is a compact, double-action semi-automatic pistol intended for civilian self-defense and police backup use. While production numbers were modest and the pistols were only made for a short time before Sterling ceased operations, they are well-built for their class and represent an interesting American take on a classic European design. Today, PPL pistols are collected both as curiosities of the American firearms industry and as affordable vintage .380 pocket pistols. This one is in excellent condition overall, but there is a spot of discoloration on the back strap. Fitted with marbled brown/black grips and comes with two magazines. Mint bore.
