Description
8/14/26 - This a nice example of a pretty rare Steyr Hahn Model 1912 Rig that was originally produced commercially but later ended up in the hands of the Nazi-era police and was then reworked and issued to the German police force. No-letter-suffix guns were generally reserved for commercial sales, and this one does not have Austrian military proofs (or any proofs) on the right side of the trigger guard. The gun is all matching and has the "Eagle N" and police "Eagle L" markings. The "08" on the slide indicates it was re-chambered for 9mm luger. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps where there is some spotty wear. There is also general high edge wear and a couple of areas of light spotty wear on the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Mint bore.
