Description

12/15/22 - This is an original and correct Steyr Hahn M1912 that was reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2. The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria in 1915, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm.  They were stamped '08' to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L. The finish on this one rates at maybe 90%, with an area of finish loss around the muzzle, front strap and some general thinning on the back strap. Terrific bore. Excellent grips with no chips or cracks.
