Description
5/11/26 - This is a stunning example of a rare "BYF 43" Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has mixed "Eagle 135" and "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. This anomaly in acceptance proofs is rare and only happens around this serial number block. This one is gorgeous, retaining nearly all of its original bluing. There is just the slightest hint of thinning on the front strap and a few very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish grips and a period-correct "Waffen 135"-marked Mauser magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional. The slide does not lock back automatically with this magazine.
