Description
7/8/26 - This is an excellent example of a super rare 1935 "G Date" Mauser Luger that was initially issued to the German Army but later diverted to their police. There were only 500-1,000 of this variation produced, all in the late 'e' serial block or early 'f' block for the G Date variation. This one is all matching with a correct added police sear safety, and the left grip panel is cut for a magazine safety (no longer present). It has proper "Eagle 63" military acceptance proofs on the slide. It is made even more rare, because it comes as a rig with two matching-numbered police Haenel magazines, a near-mint 1935-dated police "Star K" holster, and an "Eagle 63" tool that is police numbered but not matching to the gun. The gun's original finish rates about 95% with just minor high edge and muzzle wear. Very nice straw finish on the small parts with fire-bluing on the screws. Fitted with minty matching-numbered wood grips. Minty bore.
