Description

8/7/17 - This is an ultra rare SA Walther PP in .22 caliber!  It is all original and correct with about 95% high-polish blue remaining.  Axis Pistols documents only two SA-issued Walther PP's in .22 caliber.  It is likely these pistols were used in training, as the duty of the SA after 1934 was the military training of civilians.  This one is marked for issue to Gruppe Franken on the front strap.  Excellent grips and proper, rare magazine (7 holes).  Early 90 degree safety.  Mint bore.
