SOLD - 1917 US Trench Knife by LF&C (SW031225-03(Ohio))

3/12/25 - This is an excellent condition, all-original US M1917 Trench Fighting Knife by L.F.&C. The knife comes with an original scabbard that's in excellent condition as well. This example features a beautiful black triangular shaped blade with factory finish mostly intact throughout each side. Minimal surface patina and clean edges throughout. Minor scabbard rub wear and natural thinning near the tip. The hand guard is maker stamped and dated, and shows minor patina and finish loss with some surface scratches. The wood handle is clean and in great shape with no cracks or chips. The scabbard is marked with "HE" inspector stamp on the mouth piece and "MS" on the metal toe. All original rivets intact and a fairly clean olive green leather body. The leather still shows the original maker stamp, "JEWELL 1918" and all original stitching intact along the seam. This scabbard is one of best we've seen. Very nice collector piece.
