Description

4/15/22 - Original and great condition. This is a rare and unique personal item. A set of 2 tins of lip balm / cream prepared for Hitler's elite SS soldiers for winter combat conditions. Reportedly used on the Russian front. One tin measures 1-3/8" and the other is 2" in diameter. Embossed on the lids with "FROSTSCHUTZSALBE WEHRKREISSANIT?ÑTSPARK VI, OSNABR?úCK, SS - PACKUNG" which roughly translates "ANTI-FREEZE OINTMENT ARMED FORCES SANITATION PARK VI, OSNABRUECK, SS - PACKAGE" Each tin contains a Vaseline type ointment.
