Description
12/15/23 - This is a nice example of an early Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1912. It was re-worked after WWI, and has a 1920 date stamp along with the 1912 stamp. It is matching, except for the toggle. The grips are matching as well. It has the proper Imperial proofs, and has Erfurt proofs throughout. It has the proper early features: no stock lug and originally had no hold-open (one has been added). The gun itself has retained about 85% of its original finish with areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the very front edges of the side rails. Some light spotty wear on the straps. Includes a correct wood base magazine, that has noticeable chip/repair. The bore has good rifling, with very minor frosting, but still rates an 8 of 10.Specifications
