Description

12/26/24 - Original and great condition Mauser ES340B training rifle chambered in .22LR. This was a premier Mauser small bore target rifle, used by top German military and civilian shooters. The receiver is marked, under the scope mount, with a small "Mauser Banner” logo. Stamped "MAUSER-WERKE A.G.-OBERNDORF A.N." and "PATRONE-22 LONG RIFLE" on the left side. The barrel has the prewar Crown/B, U factory proofs. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel, receiver, and bolt. The numbers on the bolt are somewhat worn, but visible. “Mauser” logo on butt plate and left side of stock. The rear flip up site is missing, however, the included Hawthorn scope has great optics. Fully functional, except the safety lever does not fully rotate into the safe position. Bore is very clean with strong rifling and rates an 8 of 10.
