03/05/2024 - For sale is a Swedish Mauser Model 1938b short rifle made in 1941 at the Husqvarna Arsenal. These rifles were shortened versions of the Swedish M96 rifle. The finish on the rifle is fairly worn and down to bare metal. The original bluing is worn away but there are no signs of rust or pitting. The wood is clean with no major damage. The rifle is all matching with the receiver and the bolt assembly matching. The bore is great with sharp rifling but is slightly frosted through. The rifle has been updated by Swedish arsenals with the threaded barrel for the blank firing device for training. Instead, there is an aftermarket flash hider installed. The rifle also comes with a leather sling.
