Description
6/24/26 - This is a very nice Swiss Bern Model 1906/29 luger rig. The Model 1906/29 Luger was created as an attempt to produce a simplified version of the 1906 design. The 1906/29 model featured an improved grip, lengthened grip safety, plastic grips, and a U-shape near the safety notch. The total number of Model 1906/29 Lugers produced was 27,930 pistols. About half of those were commercial, and the other half military. This particular pistol has a "P" code on the right side of the frame, indicating it was privately purchased. This one comes as a rig with two proper Swiss magazines and a proper Swiss holster. The finish on the gun rates about 93%. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip safety, but there are hints of high edge wear, a few small spots of oxidation on the left side of the gun, and freckling on the front strap. Fitted with correct reddish-brown plastic grips. Most of the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but is a small area of noticeable pitting. Import mark on the underside of the barrel.
