Description
5/7/26- For sale is a Swiss M1914 sawback bayonet. Switzerland adopted a sawback bayonet as a utility tool much like Germany and it was primarily for field work rather than combat, as later propaganda suggested. The blade is somewhat dark with a consistent layer of patina. There is some evidence of grinding along the blade edge but it sits underneath the patina, indicating the grinding was done in the period. The blade is stamped "Waffenfabrik Neuhausen". The wooden grips are intact and have no chipping or cracking. There is no scabbard. Overall in good condition.
