Description

5/28/20 - This is an original and correct Colt 1911A1 in terrific condition, with about 97% of the parkerized finish remaining. Serial dates this one to early 1944. The majority of finish loss is on the left side muzzle and frame edge, and a little bit on the rounded underside of the slide. Trigger guard has a small spot of wear, too. Original Colt barrel with mint bore and small 'F' under lug. 'R' proofed magazine. Excellent grips. Pistol has correct inspectors marks, including crossed cannons cartouche.
