5/15/26 - 30,000 were made by Femaruu Fegyver (aka FEG) Budapest, Hungary in 1958 under contract for Egypt. For some reason, Egypt canceled the contract or FEG stopped shipping the pistols due to payment issues and only 13,250 were ever delivered to the Egyptian Government. The rest were sold off commercially. These ended up being turned into 6 different variants of the original Tokagypt Egyptian contract pistols. This one is Variant 7. One company bought 5000 of these (SNs HF0001-5000) and wanted to improve upon them. A Russian type hammer & sickle was stamped left of the legend. 7,62mm was stamped after the 9mm. The letters TT for 'Tula Tokarev' were stamped farther right of the legend. The right side of the slide is marked with SUPER and a circled 12. The improved pistol was marketed as the TT58 and the Super 12 The targeted market for this variant is unknown, but was most likely the USA. Reportedly these were imported circa 1990-92. Aftermarket barrels were available to convert the 9mm to 7.62x25mm Tokarev rounds. No import marks. All matching. Mint bore. Very little sign of wear - just a few small marks on the front strap. Comes with a matching magazine.
