7/21/26 - This is a nice example of a scarce, transitional Walther Model 2/5 from about 1915-23. It is in the correct serial range for this variation and is identified as having characteristics of both models, as the Model 2 transitioned to the Model 5. Its original finish rates about 97%. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation on much of the gun. Fitted with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with one magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation throughout.
