Description
5/15/26- For sale is a Japanese Type 30 bayonet. The blade is unblued but has notable patina across the entire blade. There are a few small edge chips and there is evidence of sharpening/grinding. The blade has the single mark for the Tokyo arsenal. The wooden crossguards wrap around the tang and have moderate wear and some cracking and chipping around the rivets. Based on the features of the blade, it would be categorized in the Labar book as LB-83. The pommel was previously serialized but is now moderately corroded. The scabbard has lost some of its original finish but has no dents or damage. Overall in good condition.
