12/5/23 - This is an unfired 1851 Navy that was made by the U.S. Historical Society to commemorate Robert E. Lee. Blued finish with etched gold decorative motifs, smooth walnut grips with gold Robert E. Lee bust medallion in left grip at the frame junction. Top flat of barrel marked LEE with gold leaf decorations, cylinder scene of heroic southern theme in gold as well. Revolver is contained in a gray velvet lined wood casing with gold embossed leather panel on the lid featuring the iconic "Lee on Traveller" image. The listing includes a presentation case with powder tin and coin. These guns were "authorized" by the Williamsburg Firearms Manufactory and were limited to a total issue of 2,500 units that were originally priced at $2,100 when issued circa 1984.Specifications
