6/26/26 - From the collection of Tom Whiteman. A COA will be provided. This is an extremely hard to find P Code Series Krieghoff Luger, with Heinrich Krieghoff frame inscription! In 1935-36, about 10,000 excellent Krieghoff lugers were supplied to the Luftwaffe, but a little more than 1,000 or so were rejected by the Luftwaffe inspectorate on technicalities such as excessive headspace. These otherwise flawless guns were sound enough to be sold for commercial use, and received a P-prefix before the serial number on the frame. The rejection stamp on this one can be seen as a five-pointed star on the right side of the receiver. The left side of the frames on these pistols were inscribed "Heinrich Krieghoff Waffenfabrik Suhl", and this correct marking can also be found on the pistol listed above. This particular pistol is all matching, chambered in .30 Luger, and has retained about 97% of its original finish with just hints of high edge / muzzle wear and one small ding on the side plate. Fitted with proper reddish Krieghoff grips and comes with a mismatched Mauser magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
