Description
9/21/26 - This is a very nice example of a very late production Series II "P" Code commercial Krieghoff Luger. This series of Luger is described on pages 220-227 of the book "The Krieghoff Parabellum" by Gibson. These Lugers were a continuation of the early 1940 contract that falls into the serial number range P1060 to P1280 with a total estimated production of only 200! This specific pistol has the blank chamber and Krieghoff marked toggle. Chambered in 9mm Luger and does not have the Krieghoff rejection star, indicating it was pulled from new production Lugers for commercial sale. This particular example is all matching and original with 92% of its blue remaining. Strawed small parts. Fitted with excellent, original reddish Krieghoff grips. There is general high edge / muzzle wear, some thinning on the side plate, and an area of light scratchy wear on the left side of the frame. Comes with an un-proofed and un-numbered nickeled magazine. Mint bore.
