Description
5/12/20 - This is an excellent and rare Walther PP rig from the Nazi era. ¬It is NSKK marked and issued, which was the designated official transportation branch of the NSDAP, and includes the elusive NSKK marked holster. ¬There were about 3,500 such pistols issued, and ~100 reported serials. This pistol is all original and correct with about 94-95% blue remaining. ¬There is¬muzzle/edge thinning from the holster, minor oxidation on the back strap and a little finish loss on the right side of the slide.¬ The holster is considered significantly more rare than the pistol even, and is all original and correct.¬ The NSKK proof is about as sharp as you ever see them, but the back of the holster has obviously had some modifications done/removed.¬ Excellent grips and magazine. ¬Crown/N proofs on slide and frame. ¬Mint bore.¬
___________
From Axis Pistols: "In 1930, the NSKK was designated the official transportation branch of the NSDAP. ¬Its primary mission was to meet all the transportation needs of the Nazi Party. ¬Motorization won Germany for the NSDAP and with it they expected to conquer the world. ¬At the outbreak of World War II, the NSKK assumed important military transportation responsibilities. ¬By 1943, almost all of the NSKK was on active service either with the Army or the Waffen SS."
