Description

11/8/24 - This is an extremely rare, factory engraved Walther PP from 1938. It is a silver finish with hints of the original gold wash in many areas. It is found in a very tight serial block of factory engraved examples, where our serial database has nine recorded examples from 988,221-989,524. It features a floral filigree engraving, which is far less common even than the more standard Germanic acorn and oak leaf style. Rare, original ivory grips. The pistol is in very good condition overall, though the right grip panel shows several cracks and a notable chip in the corner. Strong, shiny bore. Proper silver-finished magazine that also has hints of gold wash remaining, and the proper engraved baseplate. Likely a few hundred produced, at most.
