Description
7/13/26 - This is a very rare Walther PP, with an estimated production of only about 600, with original Verchromt or satin nickel finish. The production totals on the Verchromt PP are considerably lower than that of the PPK. This one is matching with the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with a period-correct black leather Akah holster (partially-visible ink stamp on the inside) and two period-correct verchromt magazines (one is a finger extension). The gun comes fitted with rare and desirable brown PP grips - some barely-visible hairline cracking on the right side. The gun's finish rates about 95%. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there are areas of spotty discoloration and frosting along both sides of the slide. A couple of spots of chipping and oxidation in the finish here and there. The majority of the bore is excellent, but there is an area of noticeable pitting near the muzzle end.
