1/2/25 - For sale is a Rolling Block Model 1897 made by Remington for the Mexican Military. The rifle is in great condition for what these rifles have been through and the metal retains much of its original bluing. The stock is well worn with many dents and pressure marks. There is a small 1.5" crack in front of the receiver on the left side. There are many Letters scratched into the stock on both sides. The bore is worn and mostly dark. There is rifling visible but the lands are worn. The top of the receiver is stamped with the Mexican Eagle Crest and "Republica Mexicana."
