Description
1/30/26- For sale is a Prussian pickelhaube with a unit marking. Most of the leather of the helmet is intact and undamaged but there are two holes in the front where the attachments for the front eagle decoration have broken off and left two rough holes in the front of the helmet. The brass eagle decoration is present and fully intact, with one attachment pin present and the other pin broken off and still attached to the helmet. The eagle fully covers the two holes and can likely be reattached with a bit of work. The other brass fittings on the helmet are intact with some patina but no other major dents or scrapes. The chinstrap is missing, one of the colored side discs is missing and the other is loose but present. The leather liner is nicely intact and all the flaps are present with the string keeping them together. The back rim of the helmet is stamped with some unit markings, including ones that appear to say "15R RJ 3B". Helmet is in overall good condition.
