Description
10/28/26 - This is an unmarked example of a German M42 helmet. This helmet's finish has an even coating of patina present on most of the shell. Despite the entirety of the shell bearing a light surface rust, the shell is structurally sound and shows no signs of dents and deformations. There are a few areas on the exterior of the shell that appear to once have had a decal or sticker adhered to the helmet, however only remnants remain now. There are no markings on the interior brim of the helmet, however there is a rear spot under the brim that looks like it may have once been a stamp in better condition. The steel liner mount running the perimeter on the interior of the helmet is in good functional shape, though some of the mounting rivets are loose. The leather from the liner has had a majority of it deteriorate, so only remnants remain on the edge of the liner.
