Description
7/7/26 - This is an original Colt M1917 revolver issued to the US military during WWI. All matching with the proper military acceptance proofs. The "United States Property" marking on the underside of the barrel and "US Army Model 1917" marking have both been ground and removed. It comes as a rig with a 1942-dated Textan holster, a canvas belt, canvas ammo pouches, 6 rds of ammo, and 4 halfmoon clips. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original military blue. The majority of the finish loss is in the areas where the markings were ground, but there is also some minor thinning on the back strap, and a few small dots of discoloration on the barrel. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Minty bore.
