Description
3/23/26 - This is a nice example of an original Colt M1917 revolver issued to the US military during WWI. All matching with the proper military acceptance proofs and "United States Property" marking. It has retained roughly 70% of its original military blue. There is general thinning throughout, general high edge wear, a few small dots of discoloration here and there. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips - minor bruising on both sides with a small chip on the left side. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is noticeable frosting in the grooves.
