SOLD - M3 Imperial Fighting Knife with M6 Scabbard (031918-8)

Description

3/19/18 - This is an original US M3 fighting knife with an original M6 leather scabbard. This fighting knife is an early variation with black plastic spacers on the leather handle. Also the blade is maker stamped as well as dated 1943 (early production feature). The blade has some patina and spotty discoloration throughout - as shown in photos. However there are no scratches or signs of sharpening on the blade. Some of the bluing remains and is visible on the blade. The leather scabbard is close to excellent, with no notable flaws. Very minimal wear overall. The scabbard is made by MILSCO and dated 1943 with a US flaming bomb proof stamp.
