Description
6/23/26 - This is a Colt New Navy Model 1895 Double Action .38 Revolver from 1904. The butt is marked U.S.N. over the Navy Anchor. Beneath this is the caliber designation ".38 D.A." and the Navy property number. It is all matching and has British export proofs on the cylinder, right side of the barrel, and right side of the frame. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is obvious spotty, scratchy wear covering the whole gun. A few more noticeable dings in the metal here and there. Fitted with period-correct hard rubber grips - a few noticeable chips on the bottom edges. The bore has great rifling with some very light freckling here and there.
