Description
9/29/26 - This is a very early AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. This is a first variation example, characterized by by the "ac" marking on the web of the trigger guard. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. Very early 961 serial number. The grips are waffen-proofed and matching-numbered to the gun. Comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, one numbered but mismatched magazine (also very early), and an excellent 1941-dated hard shell holster. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also general high edge / muzzle wear, and some small spots of oxidation with some tiny pits along the barrel and on the left side of the slide. Mint bore. De-cocker is not functional.
