9/23/26 - This is a very early, first variation Remington Rand Model 1911A1 from 1942. It has the correct early Type 1 slide but has a Springfield replacement barrel. Serial numbers for the Remington Rand started at 916405, making this one the 202nd Remington ever made! The gun's finish rates roughly 80%. The majority of the wear is one the grip straps, but there is also general high edge wear. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one "L" marked magazine. The bore has good rifling with very light pin-pricking throughout.
