12/6/24 - For sale is a M1 Garand made by Winchester in June of 1941. This was the first year of production for Winchester on the M1 Garand. The rifle is in very nice condition overall. The metal has an aged parkerized finish with wear around the muzzle. The stock and forestock are in great condition with some dings from being handled and used. The stock is an earlier stock with a long barrel channel and no slot for a cleaning kit. The stock is stamped WRA WS but we do not believe it's a legitimate stamp. There is no cross cannon ordnance stamp. The bore is bright with great rifling but there is a small freckling of pitting near the muzzle. The rifle is nearly parts correct and the parts list is included below.
