Description

3/19/25 - For sale is a Kar 98Az made at the Erfurt Arsenal in 1917. The rifle has a nice bluing on the major parts with minor spotting of wear and loss. The stock is overall in good condition, but there is an attempted repair on the bottom below the takedown disk and is filled with what looks like old putty but some stamps are visible. Looks to have been sanded either during the rework or after the war. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The rifle has nearly 100% matching numbers throughout down to the locking screws, except for the upper portion of the front band. The stock serial is faint but visible in front of the repair. The stock is duffel cut under the rear barrel band. Rifle also comes with a Kar 98 Muzzle cover.
