12/19/24 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand that was made in Late December 1941. The rifle was then sent to Great Britain as a part of the Lend-Lease program during WW2. The rifle is in great condition overall with the parkerized finish on the metal starting to dull and some spots turning brown with patina. The gas cylinder cap area has finish loss from wear. The stock is in great condition and has signs of wear and use but is free of any cracks or breaks. The left side of the stock is stamped with SA/GHS next to a Cross Cannon stamp. The bore is bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion rates a 2 and the throat erosion is less than 1. The rifle is parts correct for a rifle built in late December 1941.
