Description

12/31/24 - This is an excellent example of an end-of-war AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. This one has a rare "Waffen 76" marked barrel, indicating it was made at the Czech FNH factory. It has all the proper late-war features, such as rough machining, cog-style hammer, and phosphate small parts. The metal has a nice blued finish throughout but there are spots of edge wear and finish loss on the frame, front of the grip, and top of the barrel chamber under the slide. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips. The bore is very bright with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
