2/28/26 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Military police revolver, manufactured around 1956 and chambered in .38 Special. 4" barrel. The gun is matching and comes in its original box. The box is serialized to the gun and is labeled "38 Military & Police Revolver Square Butt 4 Inch Barrel Nickel Finish. It contains a cleaning brush and an original manual. The gun has retained virtually all of its original nickel-plating except for a small area on the top right corner of the frame by the hammer. There are just micro-scratches in the finish here and there (typical) Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips. Bright bore with strong rifling. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
