11/29/24 - For sale is a No4 Mk1 Lee Enfield we believe was made at BSA Shirley in 1943. The rifle has plenty of wear to it but in great condition overall. The receiver has finish loss and edge wear throughout, mainly on the left side of the receiver. The stock and handguard had been lightly sanded and treated and are in good condition with handling wear and ding marks throughout. There are no cracks or breaks to note. The rifle has visually matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, forestock, and magazine. The bore is bright with great rifling but is becoming frosted at the muzzle.
