Description
10/29/26 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and wears the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with one proper "Waffen 135" marked Mauser magazine and a 1942-dated hard shell holster - surface cracking in the leather throughout, most noticeable on the top flap. The original finish rates about 90%. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also general high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with correct black plastic grips. A very nice, all-matching BYF 44 P.38 rig. The bore has strong rifling with shiny areas, but there are some areas of noticeable freckling here and there. De-cocker is functional.
