Description
1/28/25 - For sale is an Early Springfield Model 1903 Rifle produced in 1906. The rifle is in great condition overall with a nice blued finish throughout the metal with some minor wear on the front of the receiver. The bolt has freckling of oxidation and patina. The stock is in good shape with minor pressure dents and a CC stamped with damage to the last letter. We believe it is CCH for C.C. Hubbard who was an inspector in 1905-1906. The barrel is marked SA 3-06. The bore is bright with good rifling but there's some pitting visible about 1 inch from the muzzle. The muzzle erosion rates a 2.5.Specifications
