Description

06/03/2024 - For sale is a very nice Drilling SXS Shotgun made by Wilhelm Collath in the early 1900s. The shotgun barrels are marked 16 gauge and the rifled barrel is 9.3x65mm. The drilling is in an overall 95% with some wear on the stock and semi-pistol grip and the metal retains a nice bluing throughout with some minor spots of wear. The receiver has engravings of a hound and rabbits on the left side and deer on the right. The barrel and receiver are matching. The bores are nice and bright but there are some signs of freckling within. The right side of the stock has an R and the bottom of the stock has a compartment for 3 9.3mm rifle cartridges. There are two primed cases and one spent case.
