Description

12/12/24 - This is a very nice example of a Gustloff-Werke KKW training rifle. The K. K. Wehrsportgewehr rifles were the standard pre-war training rifles used by the German military and were intended to duplicate the weight and feel of the standard K98 rifle. This one is all correct and has "Eagle N" firing proofs, indicating it was made in the 1940's. The stock had been sanded and has a faint SA cartouches on both sides of the butt stock, indicating it was issued to the SA. The gun has retained the bulk of its high polish finish. Very minor muzzle wear and a little more on the bolt handle. Excellent stock with minor dings and nicks. Terrific bore. The cleaning rod is absent.
