Description
2/4/26 - This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 that was manufactured in November of 1934. The bolt, cocking knob, and trigger are all matching-numbered. The firing pin in this particular gun is not serialized. This gun has retained about 95% of its finish. There are some hints of high edge wear and some scoring from the safety lever, but most noticeably is pitting on the front and rear grip strap. The gun has an early-style smaller trigger guard with straw-colored small parts. The period-correct wood grips on this firearm are in great shape with no cracks or chips. They do have the correct arsenal stamp, though the original pencil serialization has been worn away through time. While we do believe they could be the original matching grips, we cannot confirm due to the loss of the serial number. The bore is in excellent condition with bright rifling and minor signs of use. This Nambu comes with a period-correct nickeled magazine, though it is not matching-numbered to the gun.
