Description

03/21/25 - For sale is a Type 38 Arisaka made at the Koishikawa Arsenal prior to the production being moved to Kokura. The rifle is in great shape overall with the metal retaining a nice bluing. The receiver and barrel have some spotting of surface oxidation but no concern for pitting. The Imperial mum has been ground. The stock is in great shape but has been lightly sanded. There are minor handling marks but no cracks or breaks. The bore is rates a 7/10 with bright lands but the grooves are darker. The rifling is slightly worn closer to the muzzle. The rifle has mismatched serial & assembly numbers.
