9/29/26 - This is a very nice example of late-war P.38 magazine manufactured by Mauser. This variation of magazine is associated with Mauser byf44 and svw45 code P.38s. This magazine is in very nice condition with minimal finish loss. The bluing on this magazine shows some surface blemishes and wear, though the only real finish loss exists as light high-edge wear, primarily on the edges of the spine and the back edges of each side. The left side of the magazine is stamped "P.38v", and the spine bears the correct "WaA135" Waffenamt inspection proof. The baseplate on this magazine has some hints of high-edge wear with two small areas of loss near the back of the baseplate. The follower has smooth travel throughout the tube and the spring is strong yet responsive. Overall this is a very nice Mauser P.38 magazine from 1944/1945.
