2/10/26 - This is a very nice example of a nickeled Smith & Wesson M&P Pre-Model 10 from between 1946 and 1948. This revolver has retained most of its factory nickel finish, with most finish loss being in a spot on the underside of the barrel, some scratches on the left side of the frame, and some spots behind the front sight on the top of the barrel. There are also hints of surface scratches on the entirety of the firearm, and a roll mark on the cylinder. This Pre-Model 10 is fitted with the original wood grips which are stamped with the matching serial number. There is some handling wear on the grip panels, and a small chip on the bottom of the right grip panel. Chambered in .38 Special, this revolver has a beautiful, bright mint bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically sound with good timing and lock-up.
