9/28/26 - A very nice example of the very rare Mauser Eagle/211 Luger tool - the variation most commonly associated with Army and Navy G Date Lugers, and produced only in 1935, making it a one-year tool that serious Luger collectors chase. The face bears an Eagle/211 proof mark in very nice condition. These Mauser Luger tools were made of hardened spring steel, and the finish on this one remains very nice, with most loss confined to the high edges, the edges of the narrow end, and the bottom of the shoulders. The back shows some striations running the length of the tool from use, with some finish loss along those lines and high edges. The correct finishing touch for a G Date rig - and a variation you will rarely see offered.
